"A man of honor may never forget what he is, for he sees those around
him and is reminded." - Gracian.

For all our Lasik experiences good and not so good, we are all bonded in
a common drive through this part of human medical history.

Perhaps one day in a given future a technology may arrive which will
make the current procedures look like ancient man trepanning himself
with a sharpened stone. We just came first, with us we brought
limitation and disappointment to some.

To the pioneers who bleed, I ask that you stop for a moment and try to
feel whether what you do, what you say and the influences that you send
to the world, contains goodness.

Please, stop behaving in a way that will one day tarnish an otherwise
glorious and honorable residue.

Peace.
