Voila, I came up with Gelflex, one of the more consistent performers in my experience. Actually, I have been using the Purevision Toric for a number of months, now. I think that the material makes it perform better than the SL66, but it's still early. I hate to say this, but I have found the Acuvue Advance Toric to be quite a good lens, perhaps a category killer. DrG |

Not a bad lens, but with hioxifilcons from a number of manufacturers (the A material has DK closer to 20+ if that matters) and Proclear, we have other choices. My favorite for custom toric is the Proclear---dk=25-28 and for stock -2.75, you can't beat the B&L SL66, dk= 32. And you know that any week now they'll have it in Purevision. LB, O.D. |

| I never dispensed or recommended any moistureloc. I've consistently recommended against ANY renu products for several years due to. My one patient that got fusarium bought it on her own. She now has a 3 cyl (from simple myopia) and a big corneal scar. w.stacy, o.d. Dr. Leukoma wrote: - quote - > William Stacy wrote: > > They *were* extremely rare, until moistureloc came along. | In more than 20 years of practice, I had never heard of fusarium infections. I've seen maybe one fungal eye infection in all that time. They are quite rare.
