That original message was silly tripe about eye color alternating back and
forth.

You're describing something else entirely.

I think it's important your wife have a medical eye examination soon.

I 'm a believer! My wife has alway's had two light green eye's. In
the past couple months one of my wifes eyes has darkened about three
shades. Sometimes it kinda creeps me out now when I look at her. I
would really like to know what has caused this.

No reason to think it couldn't happen.

It's the minute-by-minute emotional response that's silly.

Pupil size changes a lot. Iris color is pretty stable but blue-eyed people
look black-eyed when they're dilated.

Also Xsalatan drops: "This medicine can cause your eye colour to gradually
change, by increasing the amount of brown pigment in your iris"

I too am no expert, but I am sure my partner's eyes (irises) have
changed colour in response to levels of thyroid hormone. Not dramatic,
but noticeable.

Hypothyroidism is a seriously debilitating condition with an insidious
onset.
Although common it frequently goes undiagnosed.

I am not an expert, but I have seen eyes changing color with tinted/
colored contacts. Especially and more pronouncely light color eyes.
